University-wide Employee Development (Bridge) training and training for researchers and instructors conducting field work on the UIEF is available at this link.

Logging Safety training for our student logging operations is coordinated at the state level through the Division of Occupational and Professional Licenses here.

Wildland/prescribed fire training is coordinated in cooperation with Idaho Dept. of Lands and the National Wildland Coordinating Group (NWCG). The majority of UIEF staff complete basic FFT2 training prior to fire season. The UIEF Initial Attack (I/A) module serves as an additional resource available to the IDL Ponderosa Area under an MOU.
